If I remember correctly they weren't really expecting to win two seats in the south east. Unlike the Tory's Plaid has genuinely been successful in recruiting in the Muslim community and have selected quite a few for various elections. It was only a matter of time before one got elected, it was just a pity it had to be Oscar. I think they did look at Oscar through rose tinted glasses with hindsight this was always going to happen. When somebody is elected Plaid or labour by an area, and the person then walks to the other side I'm sorry he should step down and re stand for the other side, but the story we are told is deeper then this, asked if his daughter could also work for him as his PR consultant Plaid said no, so he was off. Lets hope he does stand for a Tory and gets kicked out, I bet this gent would have the nerve to ask labour to take him back, if that failed he crawl to Plaid. Difficult see how to comment on this site.
